Dog groomer for small breeds & doodles

What I need from you

Please provide the following information below, to the best of your ability.

  • Breed or Approx size of your dog

  • Your usual or preferred grooming schedule (i.e. 4 week/8 week)

  • Contact number (essential)

  • What days work best for you

  • Your dogs Temperament (Friendly, grumpy, temperamental, shy)

  • Your dogs name

**Please read before applying**

My operating hours are between 9am and 3pm Monday to Friday

so please make sure this suits your schedule before applying. Unfortunately, I don’t offer day care and I cannot keep your dog longer than their appointed time, so dogs will need to be picked up promptly.

I can only take on small breeds or doodles such as or similar to dachshunds, french bulldogs, Lhasa apso, westies, cavapoo or cockapoos. Unfortunately, I cannot take on medium or large dogs, and this has been a policy I have had for the last 3/4 years, due to problems with my hands.

Please be mindful that when I am grooming dogs they are coming into my home, so I ask that they are kept on their lead and that you ring the doorbell on arrival. Dogs will need be dropped off at the door and will need to be left with me while being groomed, unfortunately you cannot stay with your dog while they are being groomed. I also ask that your dogs are free from fleas before coming for their groom.

Due to there only being me I can not take on temperamental dogs as any injury to me results in me having to have time off, meaning I have to close. So I cannot take on dogs with a bite history.

Unfortunately, I cannot put a time frame on how long your dog will be on my waiting list, as it depends on the space I have available but sometimes it can be straight away.

For puppies please see bottom of page.

For puppies

Socialization is important and its done by frequent exposure so I highly recommend early introduction to grooming, no matter the breed of dog or coat length. Best practice is shortly after they are fully vaccinated, puppies have a very short socialization period which ends around 14-16 weeks of age so it’s important you don’t miss the vital socialization stage. To get Sufficient socialization the exposure needs to happen more than once which is why I recommend multiple visits before the dog is 6 months old.

I recommend contacting me shortly after receiving your puppy to ensure I can get them in.
